Adopted during the First Terran Constitutional Convention of 2154, the State Flag of the Greater Terran Union remains the most enduring symbol of the nation. In lieu of any official description, there are many varying interpretations as to what the colors on the Union’s flag symbolize. The most popular explanation is that the black represents the charred soil of Earth during the Tyrum invasion, while the red depicts the burning skies in that same period. Emblazoned over both is the State Emblem of the Union, an impromptu and now formalized symbol of resistance.
This 36”x60” wall flag is made of 100% polyester knit; equipped with grommets for an authentic look and feel. The flag is a one sided semitransparent print perfect for indoor applications. Indoor use is suggested to maximize the life of the flag.
